ChipMOS REPORTS JULY 2022 REVENUE

HSINCHU, Aug. 10, 2022 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ChipMOS TECHNOLOGIES INC. ("ChipMOS" or the "Company") (Taiwan Stock Exchange: 8150 and NASDAQ: IMOS), an industry leading provider of outsourced semiconductor assembly and test services ("OSAT"), today reported its unaudited consolidated revenue for the month of July 2022. All U.S. dollar figures cited in this press release are based on the exchange rate of NT$29.91 to US$1.00 as of July 29, 2022.

Revenue for the month of July 2022 was NT$1,948.0 million or US$65.1 million, a decrease of 19.4% compared to July 2021 and a decrease of 7.7% compared to June 2022. The Company noted the sequential and year over year declines in its July revenue reflect the change in near-term macro demand environment impacting the Company's DDIC business, which was partially offset by continued strength in its memory products business.
