Bid farewell to the pandemic, ChipMOS once again hosting a charity and eco-friendly Family Day

Leading nearly 6,000 employees and their families, Chairman S.J. Cheng spearheaded the highly anticipated Family Day at Tainan and Hsinchu on November 4th and 25th, marking a triumphant return following a three-year pandemic-induced hiatus.
The 2023 ChipMOS’s Family Days boastied vibrant cheerleading performances, culinary extravaganzas, captivating adventure challenges, and an array of entertainment amenities. Notably, the event continued its traditional of environmental conservation and philanthropy. Diverging from previous years, the Hsinchu plant collaborated with a local professional basketball team, inviting colleagues to witness live games, immersing themselves in the adrenaline-fueled ambiance and actively endorsing sporting events, thus infusing the Family Day with profound significance.
Committed to sustainability, the event promoted eco-friendly particles, encouraging attendees to bring their reusable tableware and offering rental services for environmentally conscious options. This successfully reduced disposable waste. ChipMOS also offered eco-friendly gifts, including sports towels and shopping bags made of distributed materials. The DIY activity repurposed discarded canvas into keychains, promoting environmental responsibility.
To embody the spirit of philanthropy, the Hsinchu plant welcomed the Jianshi Junior High School basketball team, nurturing their passion by providing a close-up experience of professional games alongside ChipMOS’s employees and families.
