2023 ChipMOS “Green Factory Observation Activity”

After seven years, ChipMOS once again cooperated with the Industrial Development Administration (IDA), Ministry of Economic Affairs (MOEA) to jointly organize the 2023 "Green Factory Observation Activity" to provide industry, government and academia with the opportunity to visit on-site, learning and exchange experiences. More than 30 companies participate in this activity. By sharing its long-term investment in green operations and promoting environmental friendly, ChipMOS hopes to mitigate climate change together and create a net-zero sustainable future.

 

ChipMOS attaches great importance to environmental issues and continuously pay attention to and evaluate the impact of climate change. In order to effectively implement climate actions, it promotes sustainable strategies from top to bottom by raising the level of climate governance and systematically launches various projects from four main axes, including green energy plans, actions to adapt and mitigate climate change, the development of green production, and sustainable actions and initiatives. In 2023, ChipMOS executed a comprehensive energy consumption inventory, starting from the root cause, using the concepts of point, line, and plane to promote energy management through three stages: counseling period, growth period and autonomy period. Implant the concept of energy conservation in the DNA of ChipMOS employees and make a habit of saving energy.

 

Looking forward to the future, ChipMOS will uphold the spirit of sustainable development and continue to invest in climate change, water resources management, and environment-related projects through green procurement, green management systems, and green processes. ChipMOS also committed to expanding its influence and working together with the supply chain and relevant stakeholders jointly promote low-carbon sustainability and green friendliness.
