ChipMOS actively creates the safe, friendly, and happy workplace, and strives to care the physical and mental health of employees, and provide the safety and health working environment. Via the sustainable reports released annually, and the disclosure of complete information by complying with the GRI standards, the Company’s actions and outcomes of the healthy and safe workplace in the 2021 Sustainable Reports, were award as the outstanding corporate of the “Active Review and Selection Program of Occupational Health and Safety Indicators Disclosed in the Corporate Sustainable Reports” organized by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Ministry of Labor, to enable the Company continuously moves toward the healthy and safe workplace of the sustainable development with firmer steps.

Care for the physical and mental health of employees

* The physical checks for employees have been continued for 19 years, with the screening items better than the regulatory requirements, including numerous cancer screening and abdominal ultrasound inspection.

*Implement tracking management for the irregularities of physical checks, and establish the management mechanism for the irregularity grading, for executing corresponding measures and tracking based on the grade.

*Enhance the prevention for the abnormal workload and cardiovascular disease; job adjustments are conducted for the high-risk suitability assessment, and the improvement status is tracked on the ongoing basis.

*The health care for the middle-aged and elderly workers, including the screening of heart disease risk, and work fitness assessment, to keep health in check actively and manage prevention

Healthy and safe workplace

*Since 2010, OHSAS 18001 has been introduced to each fab., and in 2020, it was revised to ISO45001 Occupational Safety and Health Management System. Through the hazard identification, risk management, preventive cognition model and voluntary trainings, the awareness of each employee to the occupational safety and health is improved.

*The occupational safety and health performance indicator monitoring and measures are conducted continuously, while enhancing the management and prevention for the five major occupational safety agenda, to establish the complete management procedures for chemicals, procurement, machinery equipment, contractors and contingency drills.

*More rigorous chemical safety management standards and operating environment monitor are established to ensure the occupational safety for the workers in the plants.
