ChipMOS Protects Home Care Workers through Tough Times

2021-06-11

In response to the continued severity of local infections, Central Epidemic Command Center (CECC) announced that the nationwide Level 3 epidemic alert will be extended to July 12. ChipMOS noticed that there are still many people with limited mobility who need home care in Hsinchu. In order to provide enough protective resources for the front-line workers in home care, we donated NT$1 million to Hshinchu County Government to purchase the necessary anti-epidemic supplies for home care to help them overcome the difficult times.

ChipMOS chairman SJ. Cheng said, the front-line workers should have complete protection resources against the epidemic; we donated various epidemic prevention supplies to help home care workers that can have safe protection during the epidemic prevention period, reduce the risk of infection, and work in a safe and secure environment.

In the face of a serious epidemic, ChipMOS is always ahead of the curve and is ready to make rolling adjustments in response to changeable situations. In addition, we actively cooperate with government policies and guidelines to prevent the epidemic and fully implement all SOPs. Meanwhile, we also continue to strengthen the disinfection and cleaning of our fabs and daily health management measures. We will take the most serious attitude to protect and work together with our employees to fight against COVID-19 in Taiwan.
