Fighting COVID-19 together, ChipMOS Donated Police Patrol Vehicles

Considering the severity of the COVID-19 epidemic in Taiwan, the front-line police officers and anti-epidemic workers need to have enough safety protection resources, ChipMOS donated two police patrol cars to the Hsinchu County Police Bureau on May 27, 2021; On July 2, ChipMOS donated two police patrol cars to the Tainan City Police Department and donated NT$1 million to Labor Affairs Bureau of Tainan City Government to purchase Home-based COVID-19 rapid testing kits with our supplier.

 

ChipMOS chairman SJ. Cheng said, ChipMOS implement corporate social responsibility with our suppliers, and we donated the police patrol car so that police officers could have safe driving equipment and be safe on duty. Meanwhile, we donated Home-based COVID-19 rapid testing kits to enable front-line worker and people under care can immediately check their healthy condition. We appreciated all the front-line workers for their hard work during the COVID-19 prevention period, thus people can have a safe and secure living.

 

Facing this epidemic, ChipMOS not only actively cooperates with government policies and guidelines, but also implements several epidemic prevention SOPs, and strengthen the cleaning and disinfection of each factory. In addition, we also have cooperated with medical institutions to set up quick screening stations at Hsinchu hospital and Tainan fab. to provide quick screening for employees in need and for outsourced staff who come to the factory occasionally. In short, we will continue to fight the COVID-19 together with people and our employees with the strictest attitude.
