Taiwan’s fruits gain a world-wide reputation, especially pineapples, which are the best flavor in summer. Now is the production season of pineapples in Southern Taiwan, but the export market is greatly affected, which leads the imminent harvest of pineapples facing slow sales, falling prices, and affecting livelihoods.

ChipMOS takes actions to support local farmers, and actively cooperated with Southern Taiwan Science Park to purchase 500 boxes of pineapples (around 9,000 pounds) from Tainan Agricultural Products Marketing CO., LTD to share with our employees, social welfare groups, and elementary schools in the remote areas of Hsinchu and Tainan_(Note) to provide healthy, nutritious, and also support Taiwan's high-quality agricultural products.

We have been promoting environmental protection projects, insisting on the spirit of land-friendly and low-carbon living, supporting local farmers to use non-toxic planting to maintain healthy land, and leading our employees to "eat locally and eat seasonally". In recent years, our environmental sustainability projects have been integrated with public welfare projects to extend love to local charities, educate children about environmental protection and build up proper concepts, and at the same time eat and grow up healthy, so that the investment can be more meaningful and have more impact and benefit.
