ChipMOS won the "Top Green Companies in Asia" award at the Asia Corporate Excellence & Sustainability Awards (ACES) in 2020, out of more than 420 international companies nominated from 16 countries in Asia.

ChipMOS has been established for more than 20 years since 1997, and we are fully aware that environmental protection is an important responsibility of world citizens. In addition to complying with the Paris Climate Agreement, ChipMOS is committed to energy conservation and carbon reduction, and has actively adopted various international environmental standards and invited impartial third-party institutions to conduct environmental audits, including Energy Management Systems, Greenhouse Gas Inventories, Material Flow Cost Accounting, and the acquisition of the Green Factory Label.

ChipMOS continues to work with the Industrial Development Bureau of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, the Environmental Protection Agency and other external organizations to hold energy management system demonstrations, green factory experience sharing, material flow cost accounting promotion seminars every year from 2016 to 2019. We will share our experiences with other enterprises and exert our maximum influence through industry-government-academia cooperation to become a low-carbon, energy-saving and environmental-friendly enterprise.

The ACES Awards, founded by the Malaysian company MORS Group, is one of the most prestigious awards in Asia and has been held for seven consecutive years since 2014. ACES Awards recognize international remarkable companies for their dedication to excellence and sustainability.
