ChipMOS Honored with "Park Pioneer Award" at STSP 30th Anniversary

As the Southern Taiwan Science Park (STSP) celebrates its 30th anniversary in 2026, the STSP Bureau presented the "Park Pioneer Award" to ChipMOS, honoring our role as the first semiconductor company to complete construction in the park.
Reflecting on 1997, Chairman S.J. Cheng recalled the early days when infrastructure was scarce and water had to be trucked in. Despite these challenges, ChipMOS remained committed to its namesake—rooting its future in the "South."
Over the past three decades, ChipMOS has evolved alongside STSP, transforming a pioneering spirit into world-class OSAT excellence. This award is more than a milestone; it is a testament to our deep-rooted commitment to this city. We look forward to another 30 years of shared prosperity and technological brilliance.
