ChipMOS' assembly facilities are located in Southern Taiwan Science Parks and Qingpu Shanghai. All of the facilities are equipped with the state-of-the-art temperature, humidity and power monitoring controls with well-defined corrective action procedures in place.
Southern Taiwan Science Park: The Southern Taiwan facility currently provides IC assembly for memory semiconductors, assembly and test services for LCD driver semiconductors. The production assembly area covers more than 100,000 square meters area and has over 2,900 staff members.
Qingpu, Shanghai: The Shanghai facility started operation since 2003 in Qingpu Industrial Zone, which is 30 minutes away from the center of Shanghai city. The construction of the new factory has been finished in July, 2005. The floor space is about 70,000 square meters and has more than 700 employees currently. The Shanghai facility currently provides IC assembly and testing for memory semiconductors.
