ChipMOS' testing facilities are located in Hsinchu, Southern Taiwan Science Parks, Jhubei City (Hsinchu County) and Qingpu Shanghai. All of the facilities are equipped with the state-of-the-art temperature, humidity and power monitoring controls with well-defined corrective action procedures in place.
Hsinchu Science Park: The Hsinchu Science Park facility, occupying over 28,000 square meters of total test floor area and staffed by more than 1,100 employees, is equipped with the most advanced equipment available today. The facility is the largest memory testing operation in Taiwan providing final testing for memory semiconductors.
Southern Taiwan Science Park: The Southern Taiwan facility currently provides IC assembly for memory semiconductors, assembly and test services for LCD driver semiconductors. The production floor area covers more than 100,000 square meters area and has over 2,800 staff members.
Hsinchu Industrial Park: The ThaiLin facility, with over 25,000 square meters of total test floor area and staffed by more than 700 employees, is equipped with the most advanced equipment available today. Its operation is focused on the final testing service for memory and mixed-signal semiconductors.
Jhubei City, Hsinchu County: The Jhubei facility is located 15 minutes away to either Hsinchu Science Park or Hsinchu Industrial Park. Jhubei facility currently occupies 25,000 square meters floor area and has more than 800 employees. Its operation is focused on wafer sorting of memory semiconductors.
Qingpu, Shanghai: The Shanghai facility started operation since 2003 in Qingpu Industrial Zone, which is 30 minutes away from the center of Shanghai city. The construction of the new factory has been finished in July, 2005. The floor area is more than 70,000 square meters and has more than 700 employees currently. The Shanghai facility currently provides IC assembly and testing for memory semiconductors.
